We’ve often heard it said that pets are part of the family, and our beloved dog Chivas was certainly an important part of ours. The tremendous sense of loss we experienced with our son, Christopher, caused by her death in November 1999, made us understand that all of us need a way to memorialize the unconditional love and companionship our pets give us for their entire lives.
